This line was created with the command Points to Line. The points are from two datasets: The first set of points define the boundary in Sabine Lake, and were obtained from US Supreme Court ruling in Texas Vs. Louisiana, October 1969. The second set of points (Latitude 29 38'37.329" North, Longitude 93049'30.940" West (end of jetties) and Latitude 29032'06.784" North, Longitude 93 47'41.699" West.(end of TTS)) define the Texas / Louisiana boundary line 9 nautical miles from the banks of Sabine Pass and were obtained from the 1976 Supreme Court Ruing. Note: For cartographic purposes, thirty-one points from the map "Sabine Lake Texas / Louisiana Boundary Line with Oyster Reef" were added as nodes to this line. These points are saved in the feature class "TXLABoundaryPoints_1976". These data are unprojeced in a GCS NAD 83
