William Stanley McDonough – Obituary and Assessment Call

William Stanley McDonoughHAPPY – William Stanley McDonough, 73, died April 15, 2010 in Amarillo, Texas. Memorial services will be 11 a.m., Monday, April 19 at the First Baptist Church of Happy with Rev. Paul McQuerry, pastor, officiating. Private interment will be in Happy Cemetery, Happy, Texas, under the direction of Brooks Funeral Directors of Canyon, Texas.

William Stanley McDonough was born January 30, 1937 in Matador, Texas to Lewis and Donnie Markham McDonough. He graduated from Matador High School in 1955. In 1961, he married Nellie Beth Greene in Pampa, Texas. He was a retired Game Warden for the Texas Parks and Wildlife. He was also a farmer and rancher. He attended the First Baptist Church of Happy. William was preceded in death by an infant grandchild, two sisters, and his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Nell, of the home; daughter, Debbie Criswell and husband Mike of Tulia; son, Hal Dee McDonough and wife Paula of Carmel Valley, California; and seven grandchildren, Casey, Tate, Kelly, and Reagan Criswell, and Cassidy, Shannon, and Brian McDonough.

The family suggests memorials to the Happy Fire Department, PO Box 216, Happy, TX 79042 or to the Happy Cemetery Association, PO Box 216, Happy, TX 79042.

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Mutual Association (TPWD Mutual Association) regrets to inform you of the death of another of our members, William Stanley McDonough .

Mr. Burnette became a member of the Texas Game and Fish Commission Mutual Association, currently Parks and Wildlife Department Mutual Association, on July 28, 1960. He retained his membership up until his death on April 15, 2010.

Additional information on Mr. McDonough is on the reverse side of this assessment letter.

A check in the amount of $5,310.00 will be presented to Nell McDonough, wife of Stanley.

An assessment in the amount of $16.00 will be necessary to bring the policy fund back into balance to have payments on hand for two members in case of death. Please make this payment by May 21, 2010 or sooner if possible.

Thank you for your recent payment for the Mike Fain assessment. If you haven't made the payment for Mike Fain, please submit immediately. Failure to submit payments will result in the Association being unable to pay a beneficiary in the event of another death.
