Art in the Park: Fish Prints!

The art of fish printing may have once been used by fishermen to record their catches. Join a park ranger and create your own work of art using a soft plastic fish and paint.

Attendees Kids 12 and under play for free in Texas State Parks. This event takes place in a field in our day use area. Wear closed toed shoes and dress for the weather.

Join a ranger at the day use area.  Complete a craft where you will make your own fish print.

When:  Saturday 10:30 a.m.

Where:  The Day Use Area.  (Look for a where a park vehicle is parked, and a park ranger at a picnic shelter.)

Helpful things:  Bring a journal to record things, water, bug spray, and dress for the weather we will be outside!

Park Location:  So where is Goose Island State Park?  We are located north of Rockport Fulton across the Copano Causeway on 202 S. Palmetto, Rockport, Tx. 

Goose Island State Park has a day use fee of $5 per person 13 years of age and older, children 12 and under are free.
