Come and see what birds are ‘wading’ for you on the bay side of the island! Birders of all skill levels welcome! A limited number of field guides and binoculars will be available for use on a first come first served basis. If you’ve got your own, bring ‘em! Remember to dress for the weather as we will be outside for 30-45 minutes, depending on how the birding is! Water, hats, sunscreen, sunglasses, and good walking shoes are recommended.
Meet in the southern access area of Fish Pass, located on the western side of the island, by 9:00AM! Please note that this is outside of the main area of the park. Exit the park and turn right onto HWY 361. The south entrance is located on the left, just before the first overpass. Please leave your pets at home for this program!
All outdoor programs are subject to cancellation due to weather conditions. Program is free of charge; regular entrance fees apply ($5 per adult).
