First Day Hike - Start it Right!

Join us on our annual First Day Hike, a fun way to fulfill those New Year resolutions!

Kick your New Year 2024 off right:

• If you'd like to get your 2024 bird list off to a great start (will we hit a hundred species?!!), the 8:30 am to 10:30 am hike is the perfect hike for you!
• If you'd like to start your resolutions right with a faster pace, more exercise, and more calorie burn, the 2 pm to 4pm hike is great.

Join us on one or both, for birding or for exercise. It'll be fun! 

This event is free with paid entry into the park ($5 or Texas State Park Pass). Children age 12 and under are free.    

No pets on the 8:30 am Bird Walk hike please, but pets are fine (on leash!) on the 2 pm faster hike.
