If you are looking for a way to introduce your child to the wonders of fishing, then join our Park Ranger for a morning of introductory fishing. You and your child or children will learn the basics of fishing, learn how to cast and then practice your skills in search of catfish, sunfish and bass in the beautiful Guadalupe River. This program is designed for first (or nearly first) time fishing boys and girls and their parent/guadian. We do limit the size of the group to the first ten children that register. Please call 830.438.7653 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve a spot. Please note that if you have participated in the program before at the park, you will be placed on a waiting list, giving first priority to children who have not yet participated. Thank you for your understanding with this. We will provide the rods and reels, tackle and worms. Be sure to bring water. This program will begin at the Amphitheatre behind the Discovery Center.
