Release your inner coyote and come howl at the moon over the canyon! Join knowledgeable guides on a fairly short hike and experience the thrill of a night hike under a full moon at the Canyon. Group size limited to the first 12 who register; open to ages 14 and older; minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian; no pets please. Participants should be able to hike 3 miles (round trip) over rugged but beautiful trails with some elevation gain. Wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather. Nights can be cool at the Canyon. Bring a flashlight, at least a quart of water, and a snack if you like. Meet at the Visitor Center by the Rainwater Harvesting Tower at 5:30 PM. Reservations are required and will be accepted until noon March 6, 2015. Sorry, no group reservations. Make your reservation online at http://friendsofgc.org/events/.
