KIDS! Learn what it means to be a park ranger and how to protect our beautiful state parks with this SELF-GUIDED program ANY DAY OF THE WEEK!

Complete fun Junior Ranger journal activities on your own time and receive an official badge! (ages 6-12 years)

*Sorry - Day Packs are unavailable at this time while used/missing items are being replaced. *

Come by the Visitor Center (during business hours) to pick up a Junior Ranger journal. With an adult's help, learn what it means to be a park ranger and how to protect our beautiful state parks by completing fun exploration activities on your own!

*Level 1: Ages 6-7, must complete at least 5 activities

*Level 2: Ages 8-10, must complete at least 7 activities

*Level 3: Ages 11-12, must complete at least 9 activities

Before you leave, bring your journal to the Visitor Center and receive an official Texas State Parks Junior Ranger badge! You can also keep your journal afterwards as a park souvenir.
