Ssssssomething wonderful for the whole family!
Join us to learn about our native Texas snake species with Blaine Eaton from the South Texas Herpetology Association (STHA). The presentation will feature live snakes in the Exhibit Gallery. Get creative with crafts and games around the Visitor Center and don’t miss a special presentation at 1PM on Texas snakes in the Group Picnic Pavilion. Open to all ages! Minors must be accompanied by an adult; no pets please. Dress for the weather, bring at least 1 liter of water per person, and a snack if you’d like. Be sure to arrive early, if the natural area is experiencing unusually heavy visitation you may get caught waiting in line to get past the Fee Booth, and we’d hate for you to miss the fun! No reservations required, open to everyone! Natural Area entry fees apply. For more info (210) 688-9055; xt. 2003.
