Slacklining is the art of trying to walk and balance on a piece of webbing strung between two anchored points, similar to tight-rope walking. In this class, an experienced ranger will discuss how to rig a slackline, tips for safety, and techniques for learning and enjoying your slackline. Participants will have the opportunity to practice basic slacklining techniques.
Participants will meet at the Visitor Center and are asked to bring sturdy footwear. Participants are welcome to bring their own slacklines and equipment for protecting tree bark from abrasion. Regular park entrance fees apply.
