from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM
|Where||Brazos Bend State Park|
|Contact Phone||(979) 553-5101-0|
Take advantage of this rare opportunity to see magnificent birds of prey up close. Watch as a Peregrine Falcon reaches speeds of over 150 mph in a dive. View the effortless soaring of a hawk as it flies only inches above your head and marvel at an Andean Condor with a wingspan of nearly 10 feet.
Steve Hoddy, Master Falconer and environmental educator will provide information about the birds, their habitat and how we can responsibly interact with nature.
Program is free of charge with regular park admission. Bring blankets and sit on the grass or bring lawn chairs (seated in the back). Program is subject to cancellation due to weather.
Arrive early. Brazos Bend experiences high weekend visitation in the spring and fall months. There may be a line to get into the park.
