National Trails Day at Dinosaur Valley

American Hiking Society’s National Trails Day is the country’s largest celebration of trails. Dinosaur Valley State Park will celebrate National Trails Day by offering three hikes.
All hikes will begin at 8:00 AM
Moderate Hike: The Denio Creek Trail Hike will begin at the Cedar Brakes Trailhead. The hike will cross the river and follow the Denio Trail and then back down. Expect some mild climbing. The hike is a moderate level hike and approximately 1 ½ miles long.
Intermediate Hike: The Limestone Ledge Trail Hike will begin at the park store parking lot. The hike will follow the river, stopping to view dinosaur tracks along the way. This hike is an intermediate level hike and is approximately 2.5 miles long.
Advanced Hike: The Cedar Brakes Trail Hike will begin at the Cedar Brakes Trailhead parking lot. The hike will cross the river and then follow the outer loop and transverse through the interior trails. This hike is an advanced level hike and is approximately 7-8 miles long.

Wear good walking/hiking shoes.
Plenty of water and protein snacks recommended!
