Saturday, September 7  - ($8.00 – park entrance + activity fee)

•Meet at Tom Mays Unit at Nature Walk Trailhead

Start:  8:30 a.m.

Where:  Nature Walk Trail at the Tom Mays Unit (West side of the Franklin Mountains SP)

Description:  Enjoy a fun and educational morning with one of our long-time volunteers, Richard Love.  Richard will be teaching the fundamentals of photography, sharing tips and techniques specific to photographing these “fast as lightning”, fascinating birds.  Richard hails from a long and exciting career in professional photography.

BRING:  Camera, water, snacks and sun hat/ball cap.

At the Tom Mays Unit of the park - Directions: 

From Westside on I-10, take exit 6 & travel east towards Mountains for 3.8 miles, Park entrance will be on the left, but you’ll actually pass it, make a u-turn then enter on the right.  From Eastside on Hwy 54, exit Transmountain Rd, travel west 7 miles over/thru the mountains, Park entrance will be on the right.
