Bird Walk - 8:30 am
Fri, March 24, 2017
Come birding with us!
Over 200 species of birds have been seen here at the park. Join us and see what we can spot! We will sit in the blind and see what birds come in to bathe, drink, or feed. Afterward, depending on what participants would like to see and what birds have been spotted lately, we may take a longer walk to find a particular species, or sit longer in the blind and take a more leisurely walk.
Good walking shoes and drinking water are recommended, and dress for the weather! Binoculars provided, or bring your own.
Meet at the Fawn Trail parking lot (behind Park Headquarters). All ages and skill levels welcome!
Note: Park programs are open to the public and free with park entrance fee ($5 per adult; children 12 and under are free). No need to register -- just show up!
