The Texas flag is known the world over and Texans everywhere take great pride in the display of our venerable Lone Star banner. Join us for an exciting look at the history behind this famous icon as we delve into its origins, its use in the Revolutionary and Republic eras as well some interesting trivia and myths surrounding the flag. Presentation times are 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM and the program will last approximately thirty-five to forty minutes. This program is open to all ages but children must be accompanied by an adult. Dress appropriately for the season as the presentation takes place in a period setting. Held at Washington on the Brazos SHS 12300 Park Rd. 12, Washington, TX 77880. Accessible for the mobility impaired. Program subject to cancellation.
