Learn how to identify common trees and plants of Caddo Lake State Park, find out why they live where they do, and discover how the park was built all while taking a short hike through the woods. Meet at the trailhead by the boat ramp parking lot. Wear sturdy walking shoes and bring water. The trail is two-thirds of a mile long. The trail is not wheelchair accessible. There is a set of steep steps going uphill and a set going downhill.
Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Outdoor programs are subject to cancellation due to weather conditions. Leashed dogs are welcome on the hike. There is no fee for the program, but park entrance fees apply.
