August 18th, water is one of the most precious resources, necessary for most life to exist.  But it also brought and spread illnesses.  How did people on the frontier ensure their water was safe to drink, how did they remove waste water?  How did access to water affect the development of Texas?  Come and learn the answers to some of these questions.

Presentation times are 11:00 AM, 1:00PM and 3:00PM and the program will last approximately thirty-five to forty minutes. This program is open to all ages but children must be accompanied by an adult. Dress appropriately for the season as the presentation takes place in a period setting. Held at Washington on the Brazos SHS 23400 Park Rd. 12, Washington, TX 77880. Accessible for the mobility impaired. Program subject to cancellation.
