Come see the wildflowers at Goose Island State Park.
Come with us in search of Texas wildflowers and other native plants. This is a leisurely walk; must be able to walk over uneven ground. Open to all ages and up; minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Bring a camera or a note book to make notes, as there will be no picking flowers.
When: 10:00 a.m.
Where: Park at the Day Use Area, where the hike ends. Meet at the Park Head Quarters for the start of the walk.
Helpful things to bring: A journal to record things is optional, a camera if you want pictures, water, bug spray, and sturdy shoes.
Park Location: So where is Goose Island State Park? We are located north of Rockport Fulton across the Copano Causeway on 202 S. Palmetto, Rockport, Tx.
Goose Island State Park has a day use fee of $5 per person 13 years of age and older, children 12 and under are free.
This program starts at 10:00 a.m. Program may be postponed or canceled in event of rain. If no participants are present by 10:15 a.m. program may be canceled.
