How Do I Get WILD?

During a workshop you will try out several fun, hands-on activities and receive an award-winning activity guide chocked-full of fun, engaging activities!

Each workshop highlights selected WILD activities and how these activities can be integrated into existing curriculum or programs. Project WILD's core curricular materials include:

  • Project WILD K-12 Curriculum and Activity Guide
  • Aquatic WILD K-12 Curriculum and Activity Guide
  • Science and Civics: Sustaining Wildlife
  • Growing Up WILD: Exploring Nature with Young Children

Workshop participants receive the appropriate curricular guide along with professional development credit from SBEC (State Board for Educator Certification) and TEEAC (Texas Environmental Education Advisory Committee). All activities are correlated to the TEKS (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills) and TAKS (Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills.)
