GOOD. Water stained; 70 degrees. Water visibility is around 3-4 feet depending on your location. Bass have been good on watermelon seed flukes and watermelon red pearls around thin reeds. Laydowns have produced bites as well. Creature baits have been good in slower presentations around rocks and ledges. Report by Jason Hernandez, Bass Institute of Bastrop. Bass are holding along and in the cane and reed patches. The backs of pockets, creeks and cuts are loaded up for the spawn as well.
