General Access
The WMA Head Quarters office is located on the south side of the dam off of CR 4795 near Tira Boat Ramp road. There are 13 designated entrance and information stations besides the WMA Head Quarters. Some of the county roads are not passable during wet weather. Contact the WMA management for directions to access points on the lake and the surrounding wetlands.
NOTE: TPWD Law Enforcement personnel in the area will be enforcing DPS regulations concerning ATV use on Public Hunting Lands.
Permits Required
Hunters 17 years of age and older must possess an Annual Public Hunting Permit (APH) and valid hunting license. No permit is needed for non consumptive use.
