The park is located in Uvalde County, 31 miles north of the town of Uvalde, nine miles south of Leakey, and eight miles north of Concan, on the Frio River. From U.S. Highway 83, turn east on FM 1050 for 0.2 miles to Park Road 29 to the new entrance.

  • Adult Day Use: $7 Daily
  • Child 12 Years and Under: Free

Office Hours

Peak Season (Memorial Day – Mid-August):
8 a.m. to 11 p.m., daily.
Entrance gate locked at 11:30 p.m. nightly.

Non-peak Season (Mid-August – Memorial Day):
Sunday - Thursday:  8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Friday – Saturday:  Hours vary due to visitation; call office for current hours.
Entrance gate locked at 10 p.m. nightly.

Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend

Maximum Capacity

On summer weekends, holidays and dance nights, the park sometimes reaches maximum parking capacity and must close. The park reopens when parking becomes available. Please have a back-up plan in case of closure.

Capacity closures do not affect customers with reservations.
