Pedernales Falls State Park
Join a ranger for a one mile hike down to the falls. We will discuss the history of Pedernales Falls and how it has shaped the wildlife, plants, and geology of the park as we see it today. This hike ends with a fascinating discovery in the rocks! (30-45 minutes)

Pedernales Falls is heating up for the summer! Come out and join us in the Butterfly Garden to take advantage of the beautiful garden scenery in the cool of the morning. Flowers, birds, butterflies, and more will provide your inspiration to create a masterpiece. Paint and paper will be provided but feel free to bring your own set! At the end, enter our 2016 "Get to Know" art contest!

Stay a little later in the park for this fun campfire. We will tell bat stories and learn all kinds of cool facts about bats. You can even check out bat house plans and see one close up so you can make a bat shelter of your own!
