Located in the East and West Beach Primitive Camping Areas. These campsites cannot be reserved and are only available upon arrival at the park. Sites may be closed due to extreme high tides or other weather events. Contact the park for conditions.

Primitive Campsite (boat only)

Access is by boat only. Located in the park’s marsh, 2 miles from the boat ramp. Customers may bring their own shallow draft boat or rent a canoe or kayak at the park. Customers must furnish their own 5-gallon bucket and a solid/liquid waste bag with enzymes to neutralize human waste. Buckets and waste bags are available for purchase at the park store. Containerized fuel stoves may be used for cooking. Late arrivals for this campsite will be required to primitive camp on the beach until proper registration the following day.
