Comal County Dumped Turkeys

On April 10, 2014, Comal County were notified two turkey carcasses had been dumped.  Only the turkey beards had been removed. This occurred near the intersection of Spring Branch Road and Urschel Road near the entrance to the Rio Verde Ranch.

Tom Green County Dumped Deer

On March 16, 2014, Tom Green County Game Wardens were notified by San Angelo Police Department’s Lake Patrol about three whitetail doe deer that had been dumped southwest of San Angelo. This occurred near Lake Nasworthy, across from Rock Slough Park.

The backstrap was the only meat removed from the deer. It is believed that these deer were killed sometime between Friday, March 14 and Sunday, March 16, 2014. All three deer were shot in the head. One of the deer was carrying twins.
