The Wednesday, May 22, 2024, open meeting of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission will be held in person and by teleconference at the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) Austin Headquarters, 4200 Smith School Road, Austin, Texas 78744. A work session is usually held the day before regularly scheduled commission meetings. Agendas and transcripts are grouped by fiscal year. Meetings are held at TPWD Headquarters in Austin, Texas, unless otherwise noted. Appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Texas Senate, the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission adopts policies and rules to carry out all programs of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. Every August, the Commission conducts an annual public hearing to receive input from our partners, stakeholders and constituents concerning any issues relating to Department policies, goals, programs, and responsibilities. Anyone who is interested in speaking to the Commission is encouraged to attend.
