Imagine what life was like traveling by wagon down the Bobo Ferry Trail
Come take a tour through history: back into the early days of Cass County Pioneers as we imagine what life was like for them traveling the Bobo Ferry Trail. Experience animals and plants also seen by early settlers as we discuss the terrain of the time. Marvel at the beauty of the river and consider the fortitude of the people waiting to cross to the other side.
Trail Distance: 1-mile round-trip hike. Trail is uneven in areas with minor changes in elevation.
When: 10 AM
Where: Bobo’s Ferry Trailhead
What to Bring: Water, sunscreen, bug spray, shoes and clothing appropriate for summer hiking.
Cost: Free with paid park admission ($3 for per person 13 and older; 12 and under are free) or with a Texas State Parks Pass.
