Experience a short hike to the lake's edge and participate in questions and answers with a Texas Master Naturalist!
Accessibility: Parking will be available at Arrowhead Trailhead. Closest restroom is at front office. Drinking water is available at front office. No spigots nearby. Path to program is flat grass. Trail is easy and consists of flat packed dirt.
Program Expectations: Program will consist of a short hike to the lake's edge led by a Texas Master Naturalist. Ask them all the questions you can think of or listen to what they point out.
When: 10 - 11 a.m.
Where: Arrowhead Trailhead
What to bring:
- Water
- Sunscreen/Hat/Sunglasses
- Bug Spray
Program is included in park entry fees- $3 per person ages 13 and older, 12 and under are free. No need to register, just show up! Programs are subject to cancellation in the event of inclement weather. Cancellations will be announced on Atlanta State Park Facebook page or you can call park headquarters.
