Shadows in the Pines: Costume Hike

Put on a family friendly costume for this just before dark walk in the woods with a ranger!
Why wait for Halloween to wear your costume? Dress up for this hike through the woods. Family-friendly attire only please. Shoes should match the terrain, not your outfit, so wear ones that are good for hiking. Sunset is at about 6:40 PM; we'll be off the trail a little before it gets dark.
When: 5pm
Where: Arrowhead Trailhead
Trail Information: 0.8 total hiking distance along Arrowhead Trail. Terrain consists of sandy and uneven ground that is relatively level. Trail is a loop.
What to bring:
- Water
- Bug Spray
- Flashlight or headlamp (just in case)
Atlanta State Park has one all-terrain wheelchair available for visitor use at no additional charge. Please contact park headquarters to check availability at (903) 796-6476.
Cost: Free with paid park admission ($3 for per person 13 and older; 12 and under are free) or with a Texas State Parks Pass.
