Join Ranger Layla on a hike to discover an iconic feature of our landscape, the Rio Grande, and its importance to survival in the desert.
Bring: Water, sunscreen, and snacks
Wear: Comfortable clothing, close-toed shoes, and a hat.
Meet: Hoodoos Trailhead. Approximately 25 miles west of Barton Warnock Visitor Center and 25 miles east of Fort Leaton State Historic site.
Length: The hike is approximately 1 mile long, with some incline and rock climbing.
Cost: Free with park admission. Park admission is free with a Texas Parks Pass.
