Meet at the Historic Golf Shelter parking lot at Bastrop State Park. Look for your Lost Pines Master Naturalist guide, Betty, who will be wearing a Texas Master Naturalist name tag.
*There is no restroom at this location so please use the restroom at Headquarters building, Piney Hill or Copperas Camp loops before meeting for the hike.
Hike is 1 mile long. This hike will be along our paved Tree Army Trail - 1805 Loop. It has some slow inclines up a hill in one area and two steeper hills/dips in another section but is fairly flat along most of the trail and paved all the way.
Bring: Bottled water, wear weather appropriate clothing and closed toe shoes.
Program is free after park entrance fee is paid. Park entrance fee is $5 per adult. Kids 12 and under are free!
