National Ride a Bike Day Celebration

Friends of the Lost Pines State Parks invites you to celebrate National Ride a Bike Day out on our wonderful, paved trails at Bastrop State Park with activities and food trucks for families to enjoy!

The Friend of the Lost Pines State Parks is hosting a National Bike Ride Day celebration at Bastrop State Park!  Come on out and join us for a family friendly event. 

Registration will be at the Friends of Lost Pines table in the Tree Army parking lot near the Interpretive Center. 

Families with younger kids will be able to ride on the easier paved section on the same side of the road as the Interpretive Center. The trail here is flat, even and easy!  Those that like an extra challenge, like older kids and adults, can ride across the street on the Co. 1805 loop which has several hilly areas and two steep sections. The Co. 1805 loop is also part of the paved Tree Army Trails. 

Some door prizes will be provided by the Friends of the Lost Pines State Parks to those that sign into their station and food trucks will be present to add to the fun!

Come on out for fellowship, bike riding, and enjoying a healthier life outdoors in the Lost Pines forest! 

This event is free after park entrance fee is paid. Park entrance fee is $5 per adult. Children 12 and under are free!
