Historic Refectory Open House

There’s whispers of the past all through this park! Drop in between 2pm to 3:30pm and tour the inside of the Bastrop State Park Refectory while learning about the Civilian Conservation Corps.

From boys to men!  The 1930's were a tough time!  Just how tough?  Come find out on this drop in program from 2 to 3:30pm. Walk around in the inside of the historic Refectory which was a showcase structure that represented the beautiful craftsmanship work of the CCC.  Admire the craftsmanship shown from a strong generation and see pictures of the men constructing the park and buildings still used today. 

Program is free after park entrance fee's have been paid. $5 per adult. Children 12 and under are free.
