"The Great War"

Join us for a day of activities aboard Battleship TEXAS that commemorate TEXAS's part in “The Great War”, and remember the sacrifice of all who served. Hosted by the Battleship TEXAS Foundation and San Jacinto Battleground/Battleship TEXAS - Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.  

There will be crafts for the kids, talks about World War I, and interactive activities, which will all be related to World War I and the ship's involvement in the war.

Offerings are free with general admission to the ship. Battleship TEXAS is the last remaining U.S. Battleship to have served in World War I. Admissions are adults ages 12 – 64 $12.00, Seniors 65 and over $6.00, Children ages 5 – 11 $3.00, Children 4 and under (free) and military admitted free with military ID card.
