Join us for an animal adaptation exploration featuring some of our South Texas local deer species. Explore how animals adapt to cold weather, learn about hunter’s education and conservation in Texas, and create a holiday deer inspired craft 

• Bring: Water, comfortable shoes, weather appropriate clothing; Binoculars are suggested but will be provided.
• Meet: Park Headquarters, Tram Turnaround
• Registration:  Attendance is limited.  Call 956-584-9156 or sign up at Park Headquarters or reserve your spot online.
• Cost: Entry fee is $5 for ages 13 & older and FREE 12 & under (Park entry free with Texas State Park Pass.)
