Bat Talk & Walk

Look and learn about the bats that call Blanco home

Take a stroll along the Blanco River and learn about our most under-appreciated mammals - bats!  We'll talk about our local bat population and watch them fly above (with luck).

• Location:  Meet in front of the CCC Pavilion, near the campground area. 
• Bring:  water, insect spray (optional), and a flashlight.
• Distance:  Approximately one mile, round trip, on mostly level grass and pavement
• Cost:  Free with paid park entry, which is $5 for adults and children 13 and older
