Wildlife Viewing

Come take a look at this park like never before!

Walking the trails is a great way to witness nature, but sometimes a closer look can help to really connect you with the wilderness. Join us at the viewing platform at the Elm Lake day-use area to look through our scope and binoculars to get closeup view of the wild in progress!

The platform is visible to the south (toward the lake) from all the parking lots in the Elm Lake day-use area. Once at the platform, we will allow you to borrow our binoculars, scope, and monoculars to see everything there is to see around the lake!

What to bring:

• Sunscreen
• Weather-appropriate clothing
• Close-toed shoes
• Your own binoculars or viewing equipment, if you have them!
