Tour the Recreation Hall

Beat the heat and join a Ranger inside the historic Recreation Hall to tour the intricate details of the building and discuss life as a CCC boy working in the park!

If these old buildings could talk, oh the stories they would tell! Stories of how they were literally dug, carved, and blasted from the ground and chiseled into what you see now! Have you ever looked at the unique red stone buildings in our park and wondered who's hands built those incredible structures?  Or have you heard of the Civilian Conservation Corps and wondered what life was like for them back in the 1930's?  Join us through a walk back in history and discover how these incredible structures are a remaining legacy from a time long ago!

Meet at the Recreation Hall in Buescher State Park
