Lost Pines Scavenger Hunt
Explore the Lost Pines Complex (Buescher and Bastrop State Parks) on this fun scavenger hunt! Find everything on the list and meet with a ranger to discuss your adventure and claim a small prize.
Find all the items on this scavenger hunt list to win a prize!
1. Pick up your Scavenger Hunt sheet from Buescher or Bastrop State Park Head Quarters from 8:30am to 4:00pm each day.
2. Find everything on the list and snap a pic with each thing. Have fun with it and take goofy pictures!
3. Show off your pictures and talk about what you discovered with a Ranger during certain meeting times to get your prize. Meeting location are listed on the below dates and locations.
- Tuesday, November 21st
- Buescher State Park - Meet at the Amphitheater at 12pm
- Bastrop State Park - Meet at the Historic Golf Shelter campfire ring at 2pm
- Wednesday, November 22nd
- Buescher State Park - Meet at the Amphitheater at 3pm
- Bastrop State Park - Meet at the Historic Golf Shelter campfire ring at 4pm
- Friday, November 24th
- Bastrop State Park - Meet at the Historic Golf Shelter campfire ring at 2:30pm
- Buescher State Park - Meet at the Amphitheater at 3:30pm
- Saturday, November 25th
- Buescher State Park - Meet at the Amphitheater at 2pm
- Bastrop State Park - Meet at the Historic Golf Shelter campfire ring at 3pm
You will need a camera to take pictures of your scavenger hunt finds!

Program is free after park entrance fee's have been paid.
$5 per adult. Children 12 and under are free.
