Explorer's Scavenger Hunt Hike **CANCELED**

Explore our hiking trails with a ranger and see what you can discover along the way. We’ll provide an illustrated checklist of common species you’re likely to encounter in the park. You’ll learn how to identify different plants and help the ranger keep an eye out for birds and insects. The best part about a walk in the woods is you never know what you might find. If you’re a curious critter, this is the perfect hike for asking questions about whatever is waiting on the trail.

Trail distance: approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) and includes the CCC Cut-Through and Caddo Forest Trail. Hike requires walking up/down hills and stairs, and across uneven ground. All ages welcome.

Where: Meet at Amphitheater

Bring: Drinking water, closed toe-shoes, sunscreen, bug spray, and weather appropriate clothing.

Cost: Free with paid park admission ($4 for per person 13 and older; 12 and under are free) or with a Texas State Parks Pass.
