Habitat Hike

Join us on a guided hike through the diverse habitats of Caddo Lake State Park!
Accessibility: Parking will be available at Pine Ridge Trailhead. Restroom at HQ. Drinking water is available at HQ. Path to program is pavement and sidewalk. Program will consist of moderate difficulty trails including steps, elevation changes, trip hazards, and narrow walkways.
Program Expectations: Program will consist of going over the diverse habitats inside Caddo Lake State Park on a 1.4 mile trail loop.
When: 9 - 10 am
Where: Pine Ridge Loop Trailhead
What to bring:
- Water
- Sunscreen/Bug Spray
- Hat/Sunglasses
- Closed-toed shoes
Recommended wear:
- Hiking shoes/boots with ankle support
- Crew or longer socks
- Pants that protect skin from biting insects
Program is included in park entry fees- $4 per person ages 13 and older, 12 and under are free. No need to register, just show up! Programs are subject to cancellation in the event of inclement weather. Cancellations will be announced on Caddo Lake State Park Facebook page or you can call park headquarters.
