Sat, August 03, 2019
Kelsey Johnson

You can learn a lot about an animal by looking at its skull! Join a park ranger to explore the skulls of animals found at Caddo Lake State Park.

  • Expect: A presentation discussing animal adaptations and making observations followed by a hands-on activity. Program designed for children ages 12 and under, but all are welcome.
  • When: We’ll begin promptly at 9AM and end at approximately 9:40AM.
  • Where: Meet at the Amphitheater. Parking is located across the street next to the fishing pier. Please help us stop erosion by taking the stairs up to the amphitheater.
  • What to Bring: Comfortable clothes and water. Don’t forget to put on sunblock and bug spray before you come out.
  • Cost and Fine Print: Program is included in park entry fees- $4 per person ages 13 and older, 12 and under are free. No need to register, just show up! Programs are subject to cancellation in the event of inclement weather. Cancellations will be announced on Caddo Lake State Park Facebook page or you can call Park HQ.
