Learn all about the who's whoooo of the night.

•EXPECT: Join a ranger for a presentation on the "powers" that owls use to become highly efficient nocturnal predators, and learn how to identify a few of our local species as well. Afterwards, we'll look and listen for a pair of barred owls that call Caddo Lake home.

•WHEN: We’ll begin promptly at 9PM and end at approximately 10PM.

•WHERE: Meet at the Amphitheater. Parking is located next to the fishing piers. Park HQ will be closed. Bring exact change or check to pay entry fees using the self-pay station.

•WHAT TO BRING: Flashlight and water. Don’t forget to put on bug spray before you come out.

•COST AND FINE PRINT: Program is included in park entry fees- $4 per person ages 13 and older, 12 and under are free. No need to register, just show up! Programs are subject to cancellation in the event of inclement weather. Cancellations will be announced on Caddo Lake State Park Facebook page or you can call Park HQ.
