Who lives beneath the water? Join a park ranger to learn about the tiny critters that live in our lake! (THIS PROGRAM IS IN THE SHADE)

  • EXPECT: Use dip nets to catch small aquatic insects and other animals, such as fish and tadpoles. All supplies are provided. Wear clothes that can get wet and muddy.
  • WHEN: We’ll begin promptly at 10:00 AM and end at approximately 11:00 AM.
  • WHERE: Across from the Caddo Lake SP Boat Launch.
  • WHAT TO BRING: Appropriate footwear and water. Wear clothes that can get wet or dirty. Don’t forget to put on sunblock and bug spray before you come out.
  • COST AND FINE PRINT: Program is included in park entry fees- $4 per person ages 13 and older, 12 and under are free. No need to register, just show up! Programs are subject to cancellation in the event of inclement weather. Cancellations will be announced on Caddo Lake State Park Facebook page or you can call Park HQ.
