Swamp Stomp: Costume Hike

Put on a family friendly costume and join a ranger for this just before dark walk in the woods!
Why wait for Halloween to wear your costume? Dress up for this hike through the woods. Family-friendly attire only please. Shoes should match the terrain, not your outfit, so wear ones that are good for hiking. Sunset is at about 6:40 PM; we'll be off the trail a little before it gets dark.
When: 5pm
Where: Park Amphitheater
Trail Information: 1-mile total hiking distance. Hike will cover the CCC Cut-Through and the Caddo Forest Trail. Expect changes in elevation, stairs, uneven ground, and narrow footpaths.
What to bring:
- Water
- Bug Spray
- Flashlight (just in case)
Cost: Free with paid park admission ($4 for per person 13 and older; 12 and under are free) or with a Texas State Parks Pass.
