The stars at night, are big and bright, (clap, clap, clap, clap) deep in the heart of Texas! Celebrate 100 years of Texas State Parks with a night sky viewing, led by a park ranger and their telescope!
- WHAT TO EXPECT: Weather permitting, join a park ranger and their telescope to view the stars. We will be pointing out a few constellations and using the Stellarium app to explore our night sky.
- WHAT TIME: The program will be approximately 9 PM to 10 PM, PLEASE ARRIVE 15 MINUTES EARLY!
- WHERE: The boat launch.
- WHAT TO BRING: Bring appropriate clothing for the weather, water, closed toed shoes, and a headlamp/flashlight if you have one. We ask that you do not blind your friendly neighborhood park ranger or your fellow visitors with your light source.
- COST AND FINE PRINT: Program is included in park entry fees- $4 per person ages 13 and older, 12 and under are free. No need to register, just show up! Programs are subject to cancellation in the event of inclement weather. Cancellations will be announced on Caddo Lake State Park Facebook page or you can call Park HQ.
