Halloween Star Party

International Dark Sky Star Party!

Caprock Canyons State Park is now a certified INTERNATIONAL Dark Sky Park! 

This Star Party will be held on Halloween night. 

While we will peer through amazing telescopes to see galaxies, constellations, and moons, we will also learn about SPOOKY Caprock nightlife. 

• Feel free to wear your Halloween costumes! 
• October 10th @ 7:15 pm
• Dress appropriately and bring water
• Red lights encouraged- Dim headlights when entering North Prong Parking lot
• Bring a chair or blanket. (Something to sit on) 
• Bring your curiosity! Our Astronomers love questions!
