Campfire Talk: Echoes of the Night Sky
Fri, November 21, 2025
Celebrate Indigenous People's Month with s'mores and traditional stories around the campfire
Before maps, compasses, and GPS, the night sky was used to help people find their way. They passed this and other knowledge on through stories around a campfire, just like we well here at Cedar Hill State Park!
Join Ranger Mikaila around the campfire to roast marshmallows, hear traditional stories from the Cherokee, Cheyenne, and Chumash tribes, and learn about the important role of storytellers.
When: Friday, November 21st, 2025 from 5:00 pm - 6:00pm.
Where: Penn Farm
Bring water and a snack if you need one and dress for the weather!
