Get all of your burning questions answered during this fall campfire talk on fire safety!
Join Ranger Mikaila as she discusses how fires are made, fire ethics at state parks, and how Texas Parks and Wildlife combats fires that get a little out of control. During this program, we will design our own forests out of matchsticks and take a look at how fire impacts different ecosystems.
When: Postponed to Friday, September 29th, 2023 from 6:30pm-7:30pm
Where: Boy Scout Hill in North Day Use Area
Limited seating provided: Bring a camp chair or blanket if you have one.
Bring: Water and a snack if you need one and dress for the weather!

Cost: Free with $7 per person park entry fee or presentation of a TPWD Annual Park Pass. Children 12 and under are free to enter the park.
