Birding 101 & Bird Tracks

Who was that? Come join the park rangers at Choke Canyon State Park to learn the basics of birding and identifying bird tracks!

Are you interested in becoming a birder? Meet with one of our park rangers to learn the basics of birding and what you will need to get started. You will also learn how to identify possible culprits of bird tracks. This event is great for those new to birding or interested in learning about it. The program will be preceded by creating casts of bird tracks.

The presentation is held at the gymnasium at 2 p.m. on Saturdays and lasts an hour. We hope to see you there!

This event is free to attend for campers and day users. Park entrance fees are $5 per person (13 years and up).
